Press release Plain text

  • Markus Landgraf assumes management of the central division Zentrale Technik with effect from 1 January 2022

The Supervisory Board of Ed. Züblin AG has appointed Dipl.-Ing. Markus Landgraf (52) as a full member of the Management Board with effect from 1 January 2022. In this role, Landgraf will be responsible for the management of the STRABAG Group’s corporate-wide central division Zentrale Technik (ZT). He succeeds Dr. Ulrich Klotz, who resigned from his position effective 31 December 2021.

Markus Landgraf joined Ed. Züblin AG in 1995 after completing his civil engineering studies at the University of Stuttgart. As project engineer and design manager, he supervised construction projects for ZT in Germany and abroad and continued his career as department, business unit and – from 2015 – subdivision manager for structural engineering. Landgraf maintains excellent contacts in the field and is active in numerous industry committees and associations, where he has rendered outstanding services to topics such as digitalisation and improving the practicability of construction standards.

“We are pleased to have won Markus Landgraf for this challenging task. Not only does he possess the best possible qualifications, but he is also the candidate of choice among his colleagues,” says Klemens Haselsteiner, the STRABAG SE Management Board member responsible for Zentrale Technik and a member of the Supervisory Board of Ed. Züblin AG.

Dr. Thomas Birtel, CEO of STRABAG SE and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Ed. Züblin AG: “With the appointment of Markus Landgraf, we have succeeded in seamlessly filling an important position for the entire group from our own ranks. I am very pleased about this and wish him all the best for the future!”

In addition to Markus Landgraf, the ZÜBLIN Management Board continues to include: Jörn Beckmann, Jens Borgschulte, Stephan Keinath, Stephan von der Heyde, Edgar Schömig, Dr. Alexander Tesche and Jörg Wellmeyer.
